Risco Multi-Socket IP Module
Risco Multi-Socket IP Module is a plug-in module that allows a Risco security system to connect to a TCP/IP network. This enables the system to communicate with a central monitoring station or other devices over the internet.
Risco IP module can also be used as a backup communication path in case the primary communication path (like a phone line) fails.
PSTN module can be used as a primary communication channel or as a back up to the cloud connection, in case of comms failure.
Risco Multi-Socket IP Module features:
- Primary or back-up communication option: The module can be used as the primary way your security system communicates with the outside world, or it can be set up as a backup in case the primary communication path (like a phone line) fails.
- Common format protocols: The module uses SIA and Contact ID protocols to send alerts to monitoring stations. These are common protocols that are compatible with most monitoring stations.
- Supports remote maintenance and programming: The module allows authorized personnel to remotely program and maintain your security system. This can save time and money compared to having a technician come to your home or business.
- Communication with standard IP receivers: The module can communicate with standard IP receivers, which allows you to receive email alerts and system status information.
- Multi-socket model supports communication to multiple destinations: This means that the module can send signals to multiple destinations, such as a central monitoring station, your phone, and your email address.
